In basketball there is a myth that Jordan got all the close calls, in football the directive to protect the creative ball players is, I think, explicit. Tendulkar, many argue, cops a lot of stinkers. Is that controlling for the time he spends at the crease? Or should one think of it in terms of the expected damage done to a game if Tendulkar gets a bad one, as opposed to say Ishant Sharma? So much to do, so little time!</description>
